WTA Rankings: Winners and Losers of Wuhan Open
Aryna Sabalenka secured the year-end No 1 spot in the WTA Rankings despite missing out on a four-peat at the Wuhan Open.
Sabalenka held off Iga Swiatek, while Coco Gauff improved her chances of becoming the American No 1 ranking.
Sabalenka was looking to make it four in a row, but her streak was ended by Jessica Pegula in the semi-final.
