Public Meeting on PFAS Cleanup
The public is invited to an information session on November 19 to address the polyfluoroalkylated substances (PFAS) from the Jack Garland Airport.
The meeting, co-hosted by the Department of National Defence and the City of North Bay, will be held at Best Western from 3 to 8 p.m.
Residents will hear updates on the $20-million cleanup and have the opportunity to interact with project teams and experts to address community questions and concerns.
Subject matter experts will present updates on ongoing studies and remediation efforts.
