New Village Childcare Programs to Benefit Local Families
Families in Somerton and Currabubula can look forward to new childcare initiatives, aiming to alleviate pressure on parents and support local schools.
Following the opening of a new pre-school service in Somerton, Currabubula Public School, in partnership with the P&C, is planning to establish a before and after school care program, expected to be in place by 2026.
It has been born out of the demand for longer childcare options for their school families
According to P&C president Veronica Filby, these new programs will make a real difference for local families, helping to address the strain on childcare services in the area.
