Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations are increasingly important for law firms, with many exploring ways to be more environmentally and socially responsible.
However, few take the next step to obtain B Corp certification. Currently, only 36 law firms, including SA Law, are certified out of 3,467 companies in the UK.
Certified B Corps are companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Unlike traditional companies that focus solely on profit, B Corps are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on workers, clients, suppliers, community, and the environment.
