This initiative aims to address the growing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions driven by artificial intelligence (AI) and large data centers.
Despite the potential for digitalization to cut emissions across other sectors, the growing reliance on AI and ever larger data centres continue driving up energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
