Fort Wayne Couple Wanted for Alleged Child Neglect

A Fort Wayne husband and wife, Anthony and LaTasha Rybolt, are wanted for allegedly allowing one of their children to strangle and point a loaded handgun at his stepbrother.

According to court records, the couple is charged with child neglect with bodily injury. However, authorities have been unable to locate them, and warrants have been issued for their arrests.

In April, a report was made to the police by one of Anthony Rybolt's children and his mother, stating that the child was attacked by his stepbrother while staying at his father's and stepmother's home.

The boy said his stepbrother strangled him, pointed a loaded black 9mm handgun at his stomach and said, “I don’t need you anymore.”

Anthony and LaTasha Rybolt are each charged with child neglect with bodily injury.
Warrants have been issued for their arrests, but their whereabouts are currently unknown.
