Persistent buying of heavyweight stocks, led by Petronas Chemicals, MISC, Tenaga Nasional, and financial sector stocks, lifted the barometer index. The benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) rose 3.53 points to 1,611.53.
