Coretax Repair Set to Finish in January 2026
Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa announced that the government aims to complete the Coretax repair by January 2026.
The minister explained that the disruption in the Coretax system occurred in four main layers, and the repair could not be concluded in a month as initially planned due to the complexity of the system built over the past four years.
"This project was built over four years with various obstacles. But I am confident that once full access is handed over to us, everything can be completed by January. The security system and infrastructure will also be sufficient,"
said Purbaya during a press conference at the Ministry of Finance, Jakarta, on Friday, October 24, 2025.
According to Purbaya, the delay in the repair was caused by the contract with LG CNS-Qualysoft Consortium, as the South Korean company is the main vendor of Coretax development.
