The Lakers were down another big man for Friday night's home game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Jaxson Hayes was ruled out due to left knee soreness.
Hayes, who played 14 minutes in the season-opening loss to Golden State, was initially listed as questionable before being downgraded to unavailable, according to Coach JJ Redick.
With Maxi Kleber sidelined for at least a couple of weeks due to a strained oblique, the Lakers made two-way center Christian Koloko available to compensate for the loss in big man depth.
Hayes recorded four points and six rebounds in 14 minutes in Tuesday's season-opening loss.
