A car crash on Saturday morning led to a power outage affecting thousands of residents in Burlington and Sedro-Woolley.
According to Puget Sound Energy, more than 5,400 customers lost power, with over 1,000 still without power as of 1 p.m.
The power outage also affected traffic lights, with some intersections having battery-powered lights and others not.
Power was estimated to be restored to the remaining customers around 2:30 p.m.
