Yorgos Lanthimos Needs a Break from Filmmaking
After releasing another award-worthy film, Yorgos Lanthimos feels the need for a break. This is his third consecutive year working with Emma Stone.
“Well, I can’t keep doing that anymore. [Laughs] That’s what we’re certain of right now”
He admitted to needing “a little break” after the release of his latest movie, Bugonia, on October 31. Lanthimos also intended to take breaks after his previous films, Poor Things (2023) and Kinds of Kindness (2024), but this time he is serious.
