PayInc Completes Cloud Migration
PayInc, a critical infrastructure provider for South Africa's payments system, is nearing completion of its cloud migration to AWS Cloud.
With over 100 workloads migrated, the company ensured no impact on the country's critical payments systems. As the largest automated clearing house in Africa, PayInc processes around 400 million transactions monthly, totaling nearly 5 billion annually.
PayInc began its cloud migration journey three years ago as part of its transformation into a digital-first organisation. Janade Sewnarain, PayInc Head of Infrastructure, considers this project a highlight of his IT career.
PayInc connects banks and millions of end-users, enabling card authorisation, POS and ATM transactions, batch payments, account verifications and real-time clearing of interbank payments within 60 seconds.
