Road Reconstruction near Maxville nearly Complete
Reconstruction of County Road 22 near Maxville is expected to be finished soon, according to the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry (SD & G).
A report from the Transportation Services Department, presented to the SD & G counties council on October 20, indicates significant progress was made throughout late summer and into the fall.
The remaining work is to be completed by the end of October, with minor delays due to weather and unexpected soil conditions leading to a cost overrun of about $690,000.
