Armenian FM, CTBTO Head Meet in Yerevan
Armenia signed the Treaty in 1996 and ratified it in 2006. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Robert Floyd, Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO), in Yerevan.
Mirzoyan emphasized Armenia's commitment to the Treaty's goals, which include strengthening international security and stability. The two exchanged views on international processes, highlighting the importance of continuous efforts towards universal implementation of the organization's goals.
They also discussed the recent peace deal between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the opportunities it provides.
