Wausau Man Sentenced for Neglecting Adopted Daughter

A Wausau man, Tristan Hull, 40, was sentenced on October 29 for chronic neglect of a child.

Hull pleaded guilty in August to intentionally starving a teenage victim, along with his partner, by rationing her food and water to the point where her organs were beginning to fail.

He was sentenced to four years in jail, followed by four years of extended supervision, and received credit for nearly two years already served.

His partner, Brittany Hull, 30, is scheduled to face a jury trial in February related to the same case.

The case involved severe neglect, with the victim being intentionally starved, leading to organ failure.
