Physician to Appeal Dismissal of Case Challenging Macalester College's Fatal Animal Experiments
Neal Barnard, a Macalester College alumnus, plans to appeal a Hennepin County District Court decision that affirmed the school's motion to dismiss a case against its outdated animal laboratories.
The case, originally filed in June, accuses Macalester College of killing thousands of animals to teach elementary concepts in psychology, despite non-animal alternatives being available.
The college's actions are also alleged to contradict its posted statements on applying the highest ethical standards.
