Page Valley News, a local online news site, reports on a Stanley resident who is a finalist for the 2025 CNN Hero of the Year award.
The resident, a PCHS alum, helped form Animal Rescue Corps in 2010 to handle large-scale animal rescues, changing the lives of over 10,000 animals.
"I remember law enforcement saying, 'You're not going to worry about the rats and mice are you?' and we said, 'Absolutely we are'"
In a notable rescue effort, Operation Cage Tell, Tim Woodward arrived on the scene to find over 700 animals in need of attention, including chickens, rabbits, cats, dogs, and around 600 rats and mice.
