Through The Grinder: Whyte Kado, Enduro Bearings Maxhit BB, Coros GPS watch and more

The Singletrack Test Team has put various products through the mountain bike test. The Whyte Kado features a full-power Bosch bike with 150mm rear travel, 160mm fork, 800Wh battery, and a full carbon frame.

The Kado was compared to its forerunner, the Whyte E-160 RSX, which was reviewed three years ago. Although the Kado is an improved bike, it initially felt underpowered due to its weight of 24kg.

The Fox 38 fork was found to be unsuitable, particularly for a sub-80kg rider, as it couldn't find a setting that effectively absorbed hits while retaining support. To resolve this, the fork was swapped out for a 160mm travel Fox 36.

I didn’t get along with the Fox 38 fork.

Author's summary: The Whyte Kado bike has been tested by the Singletrack Test Team.
