Yorktown Tentative 2026 Town Budget Proposes No Tax Increase
The proposed 2026 Tentative Town Tax Rate remains flat at $178.14 per $1,000 of Assessed Value.
“This year’s budget reflects my ongoing commitment to fiscal responsibility and the delivery of high-quality essential services—all while striving to keep costs as low as possible for our residents,” said Supervisor Lachterman.
The Town Tax Rate component consists of three funds: General, Library, and Highway.
Supervisor Lachterman acknowledged economic pressures outside of Yorktown’s control.
