It's Election Day in California, and voters are casting their ballots in the Proposition 50 special election.
Proposition 50 will give voters control over California's Congressional district lines. Republicans view it as a Democratic power grab, while Democrats see it as a necessary measure to counter Republican redistricting in Texas.
Voters can mail in or drop off their ballots, or vote in person at vote centers, which are open from 7 a.m. Anyone in line at a vote center by 8 p.m. will still be able to cast their vote.
