CU Buffs Soccer Receives All-Big 12 Selections
The Colorado women's soccer team has received several awards for their standout season, including four first-team selections in the Big 12 Conference year-end honors.
Hope Leyba was named Forward of the Year, while Jordan Nytes collected her third Goalkeeper of the Year award. Other first-team selections include defender Faith Leyba and forward Jace Holley. Defender Caley Swierenga received second-team honors, and midfielder Vivi Zacarias was named to the All-Freshman team.
Hope Leyba's 43 points is a CU season record, and she ranks fifth in program history in career goals (31) and sixth in points (66).
