Domestic abuse is a serious issue in today's society, with 7,048 crimes recorded in Bristol in 2024/25.
A local charity, Next Link, has been making a difference in supporting survivors of abuse, helping 8,090 people over the last year.
Domestic abuse can take many forms: physical, psychological, and sexual, often becoming repeated patterns of coercive, violent, and controlling behaviours.
