Justice Musa Kakaki of the Federal High Court in Lagos has issued an interim forfeiture order for Proxy Lagos Night Club, owned by Lagos socialite Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, known as Pretty Mike. The forfeiture follows allegations of drug-related offenses.
The property, located at No. 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, is now under interim control of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
The decision came on Tuesday after Justice Kakaki considered a motion Exparte marked FHC/L/MISC/1161/2025. The motion was presented by Barrister Buhari Abdullahi, representing the NDLEA.
The respondents named in the suit are Mike Nwalie, also known as Pretty Mike, and Joachim Hillary.
“An order of interim forfeiture in favour of the Federal Government of Nigeria and in custody of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency of a property situated at No. 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos,” the lawyer stated.
The court’s interim order allows NDLEA to maintain custody of the property pending further judicial determination on the matter.
The Lagos court has temporarily transferred Pretty Mike’s nightclub to NDLEA’s custody over alleged drug offenses, pending further legal action.
