Mike Santana Wins World Title at TNA Bound for Glory
Mike Santana has become a champion after defeating Trick Williams for the TNA World title in the main event of TNA Bound for Glory.
Santana won the match after Williams charged in for a Trick Shot, but Santana dodged. He then blocked another uranage, hit a flying lariat, and finished with his discus lariat to secure the pin.
As TNA head Carlos Silva was about to present Santana with his title, Nic Nemeth considered cashing in his Call Your Shot gauntlet title shot. However, the lights went out and Elias returned from injury, taking out Nemeth. Frankie Kazarian also attempted to cash in but was unable to do so since he didn't have the trophy.
Mike Santana can now call himself a singles champion in a major promotion.
