The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced it will continue with the full culling of hundreds of ostriches at a farm in British Columbia. This decision follows the farm owners’ unsuccessful attempt to have their appeal heard by the Supreme Court of Canada.
The Supreme Court declined to hear the case, effectively allowing the CFIA to carry out the cull as planned.
