German leisure airline Condor has officially concluded 35 years of Boeing 757 operations with a special farewell flight on November 5, 2025. The final flight featured the last Boeing 757 in its fleet, a 757-300 registered as D-ABOM, painted in a distinctive red-and-white candy-striped livery.
The aircraft carried over 100 passengers on a round-trip journey from Frankfurt to Vienna before being retired from commercial service. Among the passengers were longtime Condor staff, journalists, and devoted Boeing 757 enthusiasts. In September 2025, 75 tickets were auctioned through the Condor online shop, offering fans a chance to participate in the historic flight.
For more than three decades, the Boeing 757 with its slim, pencil-like design was the cornerstone of Condor’s short and medium-haul fleet. During this period, the airline operated a total of 27 Boeing 757s, including 18 of the 757-200 variant and nine of the longer 757-300 model.
Recently, the remaining Boeing 757 aircraft have been retired, with several being ferried to Cotswold Airport in the UK for dismantling and parts recovery.
