North Lincolnshire Unites to Honour Armed Forces on Remembrance Sunday
North Lincolnshire will pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of the armed forces with a parade and remembrance service in Scunthorpe on Sunday, 9 November.
Event Details
- The parade will gather outside The Baths Hall starting at 10:10 AM and begin moving at 10:25 AM.
- Attendees can enjoy tea and coffee inside the venue from 9:30 AM or join outside from 10:00 AM.
- The procession includes serving personnel, veterans, military organizations, and uniformed groups.
- The route will follow Doncaster Road to the Cenotaph outside North Lincolnshire Museum.
- The remembrance service will start at 10:45 AM with an Act of Remembrance and observe a two-minute silence at 11:00 AM, followed by wreath laying.
- Afterwards, the parade will return to The Baths Hall via Vicarage Gardens.
Post-Service Gathering
Following the ceremony, The Baths Hall will welcome attendees for refreshments and a time of reflection.
